Banquet will be held September 19th @ Canvasback
General Membership Meeting
The Directors meeting for July has been moved to July 15th at 7:00 PM (1/2 hour before the Membership meeting). Directors, please make a note of the meetings new date and time.
There were 38 people present at the June Membership meeting. Come out to support YOUR club!
Please pick up your trash when you are down on the rifle or pistol range. Don’t leave a mess for the next person that uses the range. Also, please remove your targets and staples when you are done shooting.
People are signing the range book before they go down to the range but then they don’t pay when they are done. We thought our members were smarter then that!
We need to recertify our bartenders. Fred Kominek is going to contact Eric Zokowski to find out what we have to do to get this done.
There are receipt books located at the bar and in the kitchen. If you take money out of the cash register for gas for the mower or money from the kitchen to cover your food supplies for an event, please fill out and sign a receipt for the money you took. Write on the receipt what the money was taken for. Then place your cash register receipt from your purchase in the receipt book.
If you purchase items at Banas Lumber to be used on a project at the club, write on the receipt what project you bought the supplies for.
This is a reminder to all members. The bar is closed on meeting night from 7:30 PM until the completion of the membership meeting. If you can’t get to the meeting on time then you will have to wait until the meeting is over to get a refreshment.
Steak Roast July 10th
Kevin Winfield will host the July 10th Steak Roast. Help is always needed. 80 steaks will be purchased for the next dinner. Everyone is invited out to have a good time. The June 12th steak roast was hosted by David Vincent, James Vincent, and James Vincent jr. 68 dinners were sold at the June steak roast. Thanks to David Vincent, James Vincent, James Vincent jr., and all of the other helpers that made the June steak roast a success. The cost of a Steak Dinner is now $13.00. If you can host a Steak Roast or wish to help with one, please contact Dennis Williams @ 734-467-5282 and let him know that you would like to help out. Come out and support YOUR club!

Even though we have been shooting poorly, 6 of our members won cash playing the options. Come out and shoot to have a good time.

MUCC Membership
Erin McDonough from the MUCC made a presentation to the club on February 18, 2010 about the benefits of belonging to the MUCC. The club needs to be a 100% member participant to belong to the MUCC. The cost is $5.00 per member and this entitles the members to an electronic copy of the MUCC magazine. A hard copy of the magazine would be an additional $20.00 to each member that wanted it (members must pay this fee to the membership chairman). There are 10 digital editions of the MUCC magazine each year and only 6 hard copies printed per year. After Erin left, a motion was made and seconded to rejoin the MUCC. The motion passed. The club membership chairman will need the E-Mail address of each member that has E-Mail so that they may receive the Digital edition of the MUCC magazine. Please E-Mail your address to the membership chairman Matthew Goodman at trainman169@yahoo.com or the secretary Dennis Goodman at rrcastingman@yahoo.com.

The rifle used must be stock, open sights, and unmodified. We shoot 20 rounds of rifle and 5 rounds of handgun. The handgun must be stock with open sights and may be any caliber. Sponsoring New Members
When you sponsor new members, remember the dues are $80.00 per year and the initiation fee is $100.00 (NOTE THE NEW RATE) ($180.00 total). Make sure their money is included with their application and that the prospective new members know that they “MUST WORK” their hours the first year of membership. Applicants for Associate membership should show up at the meeting when they are being voted into the club or have a good reason why they can’t be there.
