MCCC Traveling Trap League 2011

July 17th @ Canvasback                             August 28th @ Dundee                                                                      Banquet will be held September 18th @ Dundee

There were 37 people present at the June Membership meeting. Come out and support YOUR club!

Don’t drive on the rifle range when the ground is saturated from all of the rain we have had. Do not leave the 2 track if you do go down the range. When open trap is going on Sundays and Wednesday nights please do not use the benches back behind the 100 yard line.

The RED flag has been installed at the gate to the rifle/pistol range. When you go down range to shoot, raise the flag to the top of the pole to show that the range is active. Not everyone is signing the book located at the range gate for the rifle/pistol range. The book needs to be signed when you go down range. The gate is being left open and the flag is being left up when people are done shooting and no one is left down range.

The September 27th MUCC meeting will be held at the Maybee Sportsman Club. Help will be needed with the dinner. Contact John Kessler @ 734-697-3882 for more information.

The membership voted to sell the old Farmall tractor we use to cut grass and purchase a new zero turn lawnmower. Sealed bids are being taken from ONLY club members at this time.  MINIMUM bids start at $1,500.00. Place your bid in an envelope in the club safe marked “Tractor Bid”.

There were 40 shooters at the June 12th 30-3D shoot held at the Maybee Sportsman Club. The shelters over the archery bales have been completed.

The shelter over the 300 yard benches on the rifle range is almost complete. Thanks to Jim Meadows for organizing this project and keeping it moving forward.

When you come out to the club for any event, make sure you sign the membership book located inside of the back room of the club. The club by-laws require you as a member to sign the book at least 12 times per year.
