MCCC Traveling Trap League 2011

June 12th @ Ottawa Lake      + June 19th @ Monroe Rod & Gun July 17th @ Canvasback August 28th @ Dundee  Banquet will be held September 18th @ Dundee

There were 42 people present at the May Membership meeting. Come out and support YOUR club!

Don’t drive on the rifle range when the ground is saturated from all of the rain we have had. Do not leave the 2 track if you do go down the range. Someone went 20 feet or so off of the 2 track with a 4 wheel drive vehicle and made massive ruts in the grass. This creates problems with the mower when the ground dries out.

When open trap is going on Sundays and Wednesday nights please do not use the benches back behind the 100 yard line.

The RED flag has been installed at the gate to the rifle/pistol range. When you go down range to shoot, raise the flag to the top of the pole to show that the range is active. Not everyone is signing the book located at the range gate for the rifle/pistol range. The book needs to be signed when you go down range. The gate is being left open and the flag is being left up when people are done shooting and no one is left down range.

There will be a District 2 meeting May 24th at the Monroe Rod & Gun Club. The September 27th MUCC meeting will be held at the Maybee Sportsman Club. Help will be needed with the dinner. Contact John Kessler @ 734-697-3882 for more information.
